(Overview)
Afrivendor is where someone books a trusted vendor — beauty, catering, photography, home trades — and where that vendor runs the work that follows. It spans two audiences on four surfaces: customer and vendor mobile apps, customer and vendor web apps, and an admin dashboard that oversees the marketplace.
The heart of it is a custom-orders system: a structured service-request flow with request states and side-by-side proposal comparison, booking and escrow integration, and, on the vendor side, an RFS request dashboard, a smart-matching interface with compatibility scoring, a proposal builder, negotiation chat and payment tracking. Admin tools cover request monitoring, vendor-matching oversight and escrow monitoring. It all runs on one design system, delivered as high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes and user-flow diagrams.
The work is under NDA except for what is already public, so this case study shows the live site and the brand. The product screens are available on request.
(Challenge)
Booking an African service vendor usually means a referral, a phone call and hoping for the best — and vendors have no way to price bespoke work. A marketplace has to hold two very different jobs at once: a customer who wants it handled, and a vendor running a business on it.

Two products, one system
Mapped the customer and vendor journeys separately, then built one design system so the apps, the web apps and the admin dashboard stay one product.

Designed a structured service request: the customer describes the job, the request moves through defined states, and proposals come back to be compared side by side.
